On Great White Wings VFX

“On Great White Wings” is an historic documentary produced by Aperture Films which re-creates the key events of the Wright Brothers development of the airplane. It is installed at the National Park Service’s Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Park visitor center in Dayton, Ohio. xRez Studio principal Eric Hanson acted as Visual Effects Supervisor on the film and was contracted as primary vendor for the visual effects, which consisted of over 80 shots of green screen composites, digital environments, and digital period aircraft animation.
